EVA: This week, PV-grade EVA prices were 9,600-10,350 yuan/mt, EVA with high vinyl acetate content prices were 10,150-11,000 yuan/mt, and EVA with low vinyl acetate content prices were 10,000-10,600 yuan/mt. Due to only a few petrochemical plants scheduling PV-grade EVA production in August, coupled with recent downstream film factories gradually purchasing, and some petrochemical enterprises entering maintenance cycles, petrochemical companies' inventory levels are low. The overall supply of PV-grade EVA is tight, and the market shows an undersupply pattern. It is expected that PV-grade EVA prices will continue to rise in the near future.
Film: The mainstream price range for EVA film was 11,800-12,200 yuan/mt, and the price range for EPE film was 12,700-13,000 yuan/mt. Due to the continuous increase in the cost of PV-grade EVA, film manufacturers are under significant cost pressure. Some film companies expect to raise prices, and currently, negotiations are ongoing. It is anticipated that new orders for films in September will see a price increase.
POE: The delivery-to-factory price of POE domestically was 10,000-13,000 yuan/mt. On the demand side, module scheduled production in August was lower than expected, leading to relatively weak demand. Looking ahead, as some petrochemical enterprises complete their maintenance, the overall supply-demand pattern is expected to become more relaxed. It is predicted that POE prices will be in the doldrums in the near term.
